Intro to Jazz Piano: Hal Leonard Keyboard Style Series Kindle Edition with Audio/Video
I advise you try out Mark Harrison’s Intro to Jazz Piano before the Mark Levine book. Why? Because Mark Levine’s book is less of a method book and more of a reference.
Beginners like you who use it without guidance will most likely get lost fast because it doesn’t walk you step-by-step through the concepts of jazz guitar playing.
If your head knowledge isn’t deep, chances are, you’d be overwhelmed in the first 10 pages.
I’d also recommend you pair the Mark Harrison book with this video. One of first lessons you’d learn in his book is ii-V-I progressions in every key with 3-7 (7-3, three note) voicings. This is actually where the Levine book starts too, but with a bit less explanation and almost nothing written out.

The Jazz Theory Book Spiral-bound – June 1, 1995
If you have tried our first two recommendations, this third will compliment them. I recommend the Jazz Piano Book by Mark Levine. Once you have theory knowledge, this book makes it simple to digest the rest and put it into practice.
Good Luck people!
